Natalie Tarry joined the Social Market Foundation in April 2006 as Director of Research and is responsible for SMF’s research programme. This programme includes work streams on the impact of globalisation, government effectiveness, behavioural change, public service reform and social justice.
Before joining the SMF, Natalie spent fours years working for the New Local Government Network, an independent local government think tank, where she worked on various projects and published on user choice, city regions, PPPs, regeneration and governance.
Prior to that Natalie worked at the European Parliament in Brussels and for a research institute/consultancy in Frankfurt.
Natalie studied history and politics at Queen Mary, University of London and has a Masters from the London School of Economics.
