At this event the Social Market Foundation and Peabody launched our second edition of the Peabody Index.
The Index tracks the key issues facing low-income Londoners using official data sources and surveys of a thousand Peabody tenants.
The second edition focuses on how living costs, wage inequality and wage growth are affecting the experiences, incomes and prospects of Londoners on a low income. It explores the extent to which work is providing a significant, secure route to higher living standards in the capital – particularly in an age of zero hours contracts, the “gig economy” and weak wage growth
