The SMF’s Ask The Expert series, in association with the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), brings academic research on public policy into the heart of Westminster.
In our first Ask the Expert seminar of 2018 we were joined by Nikhil Datta from the LSE’s Centre for Economic Performance. Nikhil analysed some of the economic consequences of Brexit, and the mechanisms driving the potential impacts on the economy. He then looked at disaggregating these estimated national impacts to a local authority level, so we can better understand how Brexit could impact the spatial economy.
