With a new Prime Minister about to step behind the door of No. 10, is the time ripe for a new approach to housing in the UK?
In this installment of our “Ask the Expert” series, held in partnership with the Economic and Social Research Council, a part of UK Research and Innovation, the SMF convened an expert panel to address the current state of housing in the UK and what opportunities lie on the horizon.
Any new PM will have their hands full addressing the wide array of challenges the UK faces when it comes to housing. How exactly can the next government create a fairer housing market for all? Each of our panel will be outlining their three recommendations for the incoming PM, and how they should go about breaking new ground and address the housing crisis.
