Mike is a tech and social entrepreneur. He runs the Mike Hudson Foundation, a charitable fund helping research-led nonprofits to use AI by providing money, advice and resources. Particularly focused on biodiversity and climate change, MHF includes Researchify, its programme to help AI postgraduate volunteers work on short-term AI projects within science-led nonprofits.
During the pandemic, Mike founded TestRAMP, a nonprofit lab marketplace described as a “major contribution to PCR testing” and donated its profits for charity. Commercially, Mike has built several marketplace FinTech companies, and sold them to leading international stock exchanges.
He writes and presents on using AI and markets to solve social problems, and is a Fellow at ZSL where he advises on innovation.
