Shreya is a Senior Fellow at the Social Market Foundation, where she was previously Chief Economist. Prior to this, she was an economist at the Institute for Public Policy Research, and a government economist. She has published research on wide range of UK domestic policy areas, including macroeconomics, housing, and intergenerational inequality.
She is an advisor to Tax Justice UK, the Women’s Budget Group, London YIMBY, and Taxing the Rich, as well as a spokesperson for the New Economy Organisers Network. She regularly appears in national print and broadcast media.
